Dr. Darius Osei – General Manager, Medical

Dr. Darius Kofi Osei attended Vinnitsa State Medical School in Ukraine between 1983 to 1990 and Post Graduate Hospital Management at Leeds University.

He also has a certificate in Health Administration and Management from GIMPA. Apart from practicing Medicine, He has also occupied various managerial positions in health facilities in Ghana. He was instrumental in attaining a center of excellence and a model of Quality Assurance at the Kwahu Government Hospital.

Under his leadership, the Central Regional Hospital also became the best-managed Regional Hospital in Ghana. He also has Masters in Human Resource Development from University of Cape Coast. His special area of interest is quality assurance in healthcare.

Mr. Philip Beyuo – Hospital Administrator

Philip Beyuo – Hospital Administrator

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, from the University of Ghana and holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from the University Of Cape Coast.

In addition to a Postgraduate Certificate in Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

He has a solid foundation in contemporary business administration and management, Strategic planning, Supervisory Management, Public Relations and Marketing, Accounting for Non-Accountants, HR Contracts and Policies and a fair understanding of the Ghana Pensions Act.

Doctor Francis Ahiaku – Chief of Medical Staff

Dr. Francis Ahiaku – Chief of Medical Staff

Doctor Francis Ahiaku is the Chief of Medical staff in charge of medical services. Attended the Presbyterian secondary school and continued at the Misk State Medical School in Belarus former USSR from 1983 to 1989.

He then went to the West Africa College Of Surgeons from 1997 to 1998, and in 2000 to 2008 he specialized in anesthesia. He is a consultant anesthetist and majors in the regional anesthesia, pain management and resuscitation. Also, he is a part time lecturer at the University of Ghana Medical School and University of Cape Coast Medical School.
Janet D. Aklamanu – Hospital Matron

Janet D. Aklamanu – Hospital Matron

Janet D. Aklamanu is the hospital matron. A strong woman devoted to her job and manages 130 Nurses and 48 Healthcare Assistants. She has 32 years working experience and has been the hospital’s matron since the year 2008.

Registered as a midwife (RM) and a State Registered Nurse (SRN), Janet also holds an executive MBA as well as Bsc. in Health Administration. Mrs. Aklamanu is an exceptional leader responsible for evaluating and motivating the nurses towards improvement and delivery of quality services at all times.
Kenneth Azumah – Head of Hospital Information Systems

Kenneth Azumah – Head of Hospital Information Systems

Kenneth Azumah holds Masters Degree in Business Administration and in Electrical Engineering & Information Technology. He brings to the job several years of practical ICT experience in both industry and academia.

With a passion for engineering of information systems and data quality monitoring, Kenneth has developed and deployed many systems cutting across the educational and healthcare sectors.As head of the Hospital Information Systems (HIS) Department of the Trust Hospital, his duties mainly center on creating an information-rich environment through the provision of information system tools and quality end-user support for real-time patient records access from any service location of the organization.

The mission of the HIS Department is to implement an Electronic Medical and Health Record (EMR/EHR) System for access by both health workers and patients.

Sarah G. Fordjour-Nartey (FCCA) – Accounts Manager

Sarah G. Fordjour-Nartey (FCCA) – Accounts Manager

Sarah G. Fordjour-Nartey is the head of the Accounts department where she has devoted eleven (11) years of her career life in managing over 33 staff both permanent and part time.

She joined the hospital in 2005 and has been the Accounts Manager since 2009, she has positively contributed to an innovative financing of the hospital. She holds an Executive MBA from the University Of Ghana, LEGON, a fellow of ACCA and also a member of ICAG.
Dr. Karl Kafui Tetteh – Medical Claims Manager

Dr. Karl Kafui Tetteh – Medical Claims Manager

Dr. Tetteh is the Medical Claims Manager of the Trust Hospital. He is a General Practitioner with several years of experience.

After graduating from the University of Ghana Medical School, he obtained an MBA with special interest in healthcare management from Washington University in St. Louis, USA. Subsequently, he has successfully managed a health insurance company and a medical equipment company.

His passion is to exhibit excellence and constantly introduce relevant innovation that will positively impact the operations of the hospital, thereby achieving quality healthcare for all patients while effectively enhancing the financial sustainability of the hospital.

Afia Drah - Head of Public Relations

Afia Drah – Head of Public Relations

Afia joined The Trust Hospital Company Ltd in September 2015. She holds a Master’s Degree in Communication & Media studies specializing in Business & Organizational Communication, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Television Production.

She is an Associate member of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana and a member of African Public Relations Association (APRA).

With over a decade experience in media and television, Afia brings on board practical and theoretical Communication knowledge.

She is in charge of internal and external communications, CSR, Marketing and Promotion as well as Media Relations for all three hospitals and six clinics.

Afia is passionate about the Trust Hospital brand, and its reputation; hence she has created a number of programmes and activations both internally and externally that promotes the ‘Trust’ brand and presents it as preventive health facility of choice.

She works closely with the ‘Well Woman’ team on our flagship CSR project, ‘Pink October’ breast cancer awareness month.

She is also a media & communications content developer and passionate about women’s health.
