Dr. Mrs. Juliana Oye Ameh is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians in the faculty of Paediatrics. She also holds a postgraduate certificate in Health Administration and Management with distinction.
Dr. Ameh commenced her medical career upon obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria in 2000. She subsequently pursued specialized training in Paediatrics at the prestigious Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, renowned for its excellence in medical education. With over 23 years of experience, Dr. Ameh has acquired extensive expertise in neonatal and child health.
With over 11 years of experience in health services development and management, Dr. Ameh’s unique expertise and experience have positioned her impeccably as the CEO of The Trust Hospital Company Limited. She has made significant contributions to various health development projects and has played an active role in formulating national health policies, protocols, and training manuals in Ghana.
Dr. Ameh’s latest venture, the Trust Hospital Premium Centre, is the newest addition to the Trust brand. As a visionary leader, she ensures that the facility consistently maintains healthcare and administrative excellence, ensuring that every patient who visits any of the nine facilities of The Trust Hospital Company Limited leaves with their expectations fulfilled.
Before she was appointed CEO of The Trust Hospital Company Limited, Dr. Ameh served as Medical Superintendent at LEKMA Hospital, where she established a thriving health delivery model and contributed significantly to the hospital’s progress. She served in management and gained experience at La General Hospital further underscores her prowess in healthcare administration.
She is also proud to be one of the few Ghanaians to be a Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Improvement.
Dr. Ameh is happily married to Dr. Emmanuel Ameh, and together they have three beautiful children. She is also involved in ministry and serves as a Minister at Wisdom Chapel of the Fountain of Wisdom Ministries.
